Fish Defense In the Great, Big Blue
Danger, or Defense?
After you have finished researching and using the document and video links provided in each of your job descriptions, your next step is to create a story about the life of a fish and the dangers it encounters in the great, big, blue ocean.
Using your notes from each of your job investigations (Poison Control, Hunter, and Operator), please discuss with your group your findings. As a group, you should all decide on one important fact from your research to use in each of your stories.
1. The investigator responsible for researching how fish use poison and chemicals to fight off predators and protect themselves, will write a story using his or her findings.
2. The investigator responsible for researching how fish use camouflage and mimicry to fight off predators and protect themselves, will write a story using his or her findings.
3. The investigator responsible for researching how fish use communication to fight off predators and protect themselves, will write a story using his or her findings.
